Mid Summer Report
The rollercoaster weather patterns have kept us on our toes in the central Yoop. Frost to overnight lows in 70's, we have seen it all this June. The usual summer menu has the trout looking up and the dry fly fishing is really good right now as we work through the hatches. I would expect to see the brown drakes lingering a little longer and our hex hatch is getting started. If you aren't into late nights the rest of the day is fishing well with ants/beetles and stimulator style dries. Bass and panfish fishing reports have been excellent with topwater fishing being the main method for the locals. Water temps have spiked with the recent heat wave, but they are cooling off and the big waters should be fishable by tomorrow morning. Good luck out there!
