Salted coho salmon skein from September 2023. This is fresh skein that has been salted, but is ready for a cure of your choosing. These skeins are perfect for tying bags or fishing in an egg loop. Proper curing and drying before fishing will result in a slow milking bait that is perfect for salmon and steelhead. Limited quantities. Shipped in a vacuum sealed bag. Cure or dry when you receive it. Refrigerate or freeze for storage.

 

Tips for getting the best value out of your skein.

  1. Strain
  2. Cut into bait sized chunks
  3. Air dry until desired texture
  4. Optional step. Dust with borax.
  5. Keep refrigerated or frozen.
