Buried in snow
Winter has returned with a vengeance after teasing us with a really decent series of warm days. The snow pack that we lost has been replaced with nearly 2 feet of heavy wet snow on a layer of ice. Today we are expecting rain which should knock the snow back and get the river levels back up. The steelhead fishing has been slow lately, but it was steady during the warm up. Spring fish are in all of our river systems and the next melt will bring the numbers up quickly. The harbors are fishing well for coho and a few boats are getting out when they can.The trolling gear is being put out at the shop and we have some new additions to the spoon selection again this year. This will be a busy week for the Superior Outfitters crew and we look forward to seeing you at the T.U. Film fest and the Boat, Sport and Rv show this weekend. For those not attending watch the website for special deals this weekend as we will be running a few show specials.
